Logan's day as a mascot vs Bristol City

Our members kindly agreed to sponsor 12 junior mascots this season. These will be allocated to members who enter a draw, with a small number donated to deserving organisations in Blackpool. If the recipient is not already, we hope this encourages them to be a Seasiders for life.

As the season progresses, we will share here their stories of the big day out.

Here is a summary of the day from Logan's dad Peter

Andy - Hi, just in relation to the day of Logan being mascot (Bristol City game) all ran smooth from start to finish. Not just the planning of the day but previous also with Emma answering lots of questions for me running up to the day. The people tasked with managing the process on the day made sure Logan was well looked after. Logan was relaxed in what could have been a nervous time especially early on.

Logan described it as “ such a good day” referring back to the day often to talk about his experience. The players were considerate also taking time out which Logan was very happy with. Since then he has a close connection with the club. Which is what I wanted him to gain from the day. Couldn’t recommend the experience enough. Something I am sure he will remember as a fantastic child hood experience. Certainly for me as dad it’s up there with the best of memories from his first 10 years…
